Release Day Contest!

HAPPY RELEASE DAY, everybody!

To commemorate the release of AND ONE LAST THING - the story of a woman done wrong who gets revenge in a very public, very verbal manner - I've decided to offer a free signed copy to the reader who can offer the most heinous "lover did me wrong" story. He cheated with your twin and tried to tell you it didn't count because you're identical. She ruined your credit by spending $11,000 on QVC jewelry. He had one last fling with a second cousin at your rehearsal dinner. Let's hear it!

There will be bonus points awarded if you got revenge in a legal, non-lethal manner. (Please don't make me a witness for the prosecution.) Also, please spread the word about this contest and release of AND ONE LAST THING on Facebook, Myspace, Goodreads, Twitter and blogs. Post the link along with your story in the comment section.

You have until Aug. 3 to post your story. I will determine the winner and announce it here.

For the record, this blog and the author do not condone crimes against property or people. If you're going to exact revenge against someone, use your words.

Darn -- I don't have a personal moment but I have a friend that did and I got to witness it. Ok I might have been there when the infraction occurred and I might have been the one to leak said infraction to the friend but that's another story.

Okay my friend was out of town for work and I went out with the gang (this was in college) and to costume night at the bar. Her boyfriend hooked up with this chic and they did the nasty in the bathroom. When she confronted him about it he said that it didn't count? Why? Because she was dressed as Britney Spears... his celebrity crush and celebrity crushes didn't count!

Needless she was pissed. So I guess I can't tell you how she officially got back at him but it did include a bat, a car and the lyric "Hit me baby One more time" played over and over again very loudy. (wouldn't want you to have to take the stand)

I don't have a story unfortunately, but I wanted to post to let you know I am really looking forward to this book coming out!

I pre-ordered it for my kindle, so I am just waiting for it to arrive :)

well, My boyfriend of 3 1/2 years up and broke it off with me over the phone with no warning whatsoever. It was 2 days after Thanksgiving and the weekend after his birthday which I spent with him and his family and my family gave him presents for his birthday and I already had started Christmas shopping for him. I was stunned! No, in shock!I mean, we weren't having any problems. He just said he wanted to know what I thought about just being friends for a while (after 3 1/2 years)what could I say? He obviously already had his mind made up. He said he felt we wanted different things-please.I mean he always said he would never get married and I never pushed. I was content with things as they were. I loved him and our relationship seemed pretty solid to me. Boy was I blind. How could you dump someone over the phone. We even had plans that night! Oh and by the way, I found out recently that less than a year after dumping me he got married. So much for his "never getting married"

So I guess my long post previously didn't show up*sigh*So now I'm making this shorter since I have to do it all over again!

Personally nothing ever happened to me but I got roped into the revenge part. My friend's boyfriend of 3 years cheated on her with one of our friends! She is definitely no longer a friend that backstabbing b*@&$! To get revenge we dumped eggs into their car engines and gas tank. Then with the help of others, we snuck into their rooms in the middle of the night and superglued their fingers to their faces. Then drew all over them with a sharpie and sprayed their hair a bright yellow. During this whole fiasco I was taking pictures! We also made huge posters to post in front of their houses that called them very bad names. We made a Facebook page filled with all the pics of them that night and invited everyone we knew to see it! Revenge is a sweet, sweet thing.

Given Jeanette's post, I feel the need to state, once again, that the author does not endorse destruction of private property. Now I'm going to back away, before Jeanette super-glues me.

Sheesh
